Short Story... Again...

“UNTIL NOW”

          Scarlette was busy texting on her cellphone when she heard Alec laughing. God, shut him out please. She thought.

          He was her ex, unfortunately. He has almost pale complexion, brown small eyes, thick lashes, black faux hawk cut hair, thin lips, and toned with muscles in a height of six feet.  He’s a varsity player in rugby team.

          “Hey, Scarlette.” He greeted.

          She just nodded. She really hates it whenever they came across with each other. It reminds her of their past. Their awful past.

3 years ago…     

          “Alec, where are you?” she texted Alec, her two months boyfriend.

          Twenty minutes had passed. She still hasn't received any reply from him.

          She decided to visit him in his house but she was surprise on what she saw. Alec was kissing another girl. It was her best friend, Wendy.

          “What the hell are you two doing?!” she shouted.

          “Scar, let me explain.” Alec said as he approaches her.

          “We. Are. Done.” She said angrily as she hurriedly goes to her car.

          Alec still loves Scarlette. He hates their past. He hates himself for falling a trap that ruined their almost perfect relationship. Still, he can’t blame her for breaking up with him. He’s no good for her. But up until now, he misses those times that they share wonderfully with each other.

          She has a fair complexion, hazel eyes, high nose, long lashes, pixie cut hair, small reddish lips that he used to kiss, and petite figure.

          Apparently, she still hates him. Maybe because, he’s her first love—who breaks her heart into pieces.

          All he knew right now is he wants her back but he can’t do it. He’s afraid to hurt her again.

          Scarlette opens her locker and found a letter. Another letter. She thought.

          For three years, she receives a love letter that always says “I Love You”. But until now, she still doesn’t know the unknown sender even if she’ll be graduating next year.

          She learned to love him even if she doesn't know him but she’s sure for one thing, he’s not like Alec.

          She kept the letter inside the box of her locker which some of the letters are there too.

          “Hey, Scarrie.” Someone said behind her. It was Wendy, her ex-best friend.

          “What do you want?” she asked.

          “Oh, nothing. I just want to say hi.”

          “So? You already said it. You can go now.”

          “You don’t have to drive me away. No one can stand you. Maybe that’s why Alec cheated on you.”

          “Well, at least I’m not a cheater. It makes me look like a cheap one especially if that certain person already knows that the person is already taken.”

          “Are you trying to tell me that I’m cheap?”

          “Oh, sorry. Are you struck by the words I’ve said? I didn’t mention a name,” she answered back and suddenly, Wendy slaps her but she didn’t fight back. “I’m not going to slap you back. I’m just stating my opinion. It’s not my fault if you’re struck by my words. And you, slapping me? It really does make you cheap.” She said and walks away.

          Alec saw all what happened. He was about to stop Wendy but fortunately, Scarlette knew how to fight through verbal. But still, he he’s worried o her. He knew that her skin is really sensitive and her face will swell easily but he needs to talk to Wendy.

          “What was that, Wendy?” he asked angrily.

          “Oh, Alec! I knew you’ll comfort me” she said and tried to hug him.

          “Stop that. I’m not here to comfort you. Why did you tell her that? Are you really a heartless kind of woman?”

          “I just want to show the real her.”

          “For you, that’s her. But for me, she’s not that kind. You knew that I always love her and until now.”

          “Why can’t you learn to love me?”

          “Because you’re the reason why she break up with me. You kissed me because you knew she’ll see us!” he shouted angrily and walks away.

          Scarlette was crying inside her room. She was hurt of the words that Wendy said on her. She knew that it’s a lie but somehow, she wants to believe.

          Suddenly, her cellphone rang. It was Shelby, her classmate but not her friend.

          “Hello?” she said.

          “Hey! Did you hear what Alec said?” Shelby asked.

          “No? What did he said?”

          “He said that he still loves you. And he scolds Wendy for slapping you and for the reason why you two broke up.”

          “What?”

          “Gotta go. Bye!”

          What does he mean that Wendy’s fault? She thought.

          Alec saw the Scarlette sitting under the tree. She was alone. He can’t that she has a problem so he decided to go to her.

          “Hey.” He greeted.

          “Hi.” She said.

          “Problem?”

          “Nah. Just Resting.”

          “I know that you are lying.”

          “Well, I heard what you've said on Wendy.”

          “Oh. That I still love you? It’s true.” He said looking to her eyes.

          “Why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t you tell me that it’s Wendy’s fault?” she asked.

          “I believe that you’re not good enough for me.”

          “That’s it? I can’t believe it!” she said in anger and walks out.

          “Scarlette, wait!” he shouted.

          Scarlette can’t believe that Alec said they are not good with each.  She even skipped her next class.

          “Scarlette!” she heard someone shouted. She recognizes the voice. It was Alec.

          “What the hell?” she groaned.

          She need time to be alone but unfortunately, God didn’t give what she wants.

          “Wait up!” he said.

          “Go away!” she replied.

          “No. You didn’t let me finish back there.”

          “Then I don’t want to!”

          “I love you. And yesterday, I realized that I want to continue our relationship. I want you to be my girlfriend for a second time.” He said sincerely.

          “What?” She was stunned on what she heard but she want to hear it again.

          Alec smiles and cupped her face and said “I love you. And I was the one keep sending you some love letters.”  He reaches her lips and she knew that after this moment, they’re going to start anew.

“Love Letter And Car Accident”

            Brianna is busy studying her notes in Physics when she heard someone comes inside the room. It was Ashe, the high school heartthrob/baseball player/woman hater. He has a looks to kill for. He has fair complexion that matches his brown dreamy eyes, long lashes, thick eye brows, chiseled cheekbones, reddish lip, muscular body because of his favorite sports, and a height that makes him eye catcher.

            She’s been in love with him for almost three years. Apparently, she’s on a one sided love story. Well, maybe because of the way she looks. She has a fair complexion with brown roundy eyes that is always accompanied by thick glasses, long black wavy hair, thin lips and a petite body. She really hates it being a geek because almost all of her classmates friended her just for her brains but she endures it just to help them.

            

            “Hey Ashe.” She greeted but sadly, he didn’t answer even if a small nod.

            She felt a bit of hurt because even if small greeting, he doesn’t want to answer because for all she knew, he hates girls.

            It started when his first love broke up with him just because of another boy. He was depressed for a few weeks but later, moved on and promises not to fall in love again.

            She hates it. She hates why he became a woman hater but she can’t blame him.

            Ashe saw the sad face of Brianna when he didn’t respond to her greeting. For all he knew, she is in love with him. But she can’t entertain it. He’s afraid to fall in love again. He just walks straight to his chair and seated then started studying.

            Even if he’s studying, he wants to tell Brianna that he was sorry. He is attracted to her because she has the most beautiful set of eyes. For almost three years, he’d been stalking her for unknown reason.

            He just closes his book and stared at her secretly. Gladly, they’re the only one inside of the classroom. So, he just wishes that all of his classmates will be late but someone entered the room. In anger, he drops his book and stops looking at Brianna.

            Brianna stares blankly at the clouds. She’s planning how to make Ashe be her friend. She can’t stand that she’ll be graduating in college without making him as her friend. She has a lot of ways but hard to do.

            She can ask her friends but she’s pretty sure that they will tell their other classmates and later on, they would tease her that the geek of the class is in love with a woman hater.

            She hates it. She hates why she can’t find a solution with a simple problem. Maybe, she’ll just graduate without friending him.

            Brianna is eating her lunch when her best friend, Leslie, seated beside her. She’s also a geek like her that’s why they’re close. She has pale complexion with small chinky eyes matching with black contacts, high nose, thin lips, brown pixie cut hair, and petite figure.

            “What?” she asked.

            “Nothing. I’m just happy.” She answered.

            “Happy of what?”

            “Well, Josh asked me out and of course, I said yes”

            “I’m happy for you but why? Why did he ask you? Are you two are friends?” She asked confusedly.

            “Well, at first, no. But I started living some love letters on his locker and later, he caught me and asked me out.” She explained.

            “Because of that? Unbelievable! I mean, maybe because he’s already in love with you.”

            “I dunno. Maybe. Maybe no. The important thing is, we have a date.”

            Brianna can’t sleep later that night. She’s thinking on what Leslie did. Maybe if she’ll make a love letter, Ashe would ask her out too. It’s easy but hard thing to do. Maybe someone would caught her and read the letter. There are a lot of possibilities.

            She just gets her notebook and writes a love letter and put it on an envelope. She’ll try to do it no matter what.

            So, she just returned to her bed and prays that it would turn well tomorrow.

            Brianna keeps on fidgeting. She’s so nervous on what will happen.

            Even if that there’s no one around, she’s still nervous but in the end, she drop the letter at Ashe’s locker and suddenly, someone shouted at her. It was Ashe.

            “Crap.” She tried to run but Ashe reaches her.

            “What did you dropped?” He asked.

            “No-nothing.”

            “Nothing, huh,” He said as he opened his locker and read the letter. “So a love letter is nothing?”

            “Well, I just like you. I can’t help myself that we’re graduating without knowing each other. And I lo-love you.” She answered shyly.

            “You know, there nothing you can do. I don’t like you and most of all, I don’t love you. You’re just one of the girls who’ll be in love with a boy and later, you’ll get tired of him and  dump him on the end.” He said angrily.

            “No! I wouldn’t do—“ She didn’t finish what she is saying because Ashe interrupted her.

            “Oh, please. You will in the end. You just haven’t figured it out. All of you girls are the same. You are heartless—“ She didn’t let him finish because she slaps him and run away.

            She hates him now. She also hates herself for loving that bastard. And suddenly, she heard a noise from a car and her vision went black.

            Ashe heard the news that Brianna was hit by a car. It’s his entire fault that she was hit by a car and he even hurt her emotionally.

            He decided to visit her in the hospital and say that he was sorry and tell her that he loves her and explain that he’s just afraid to have a relationship again.

            Brianna is sleeping when someone touch her. And when she wakes up, it was Ashe.

            “What are you doing here?” She asked.

            “I’m here to say sorry.” He answered.

            “You don’t have to. It’s my fa—“

            “No. It’s my fault. It’s my fault for not saying I love you too. I’m just scared to have a relationship again.”

            She stared at him wide eyes. She can’t believe that all along, he is in love with her. “Why you didn’t tell me?”

            “Like I said, I’m afraid and also, I’m shy to tell you but please forgive me.”

            “Of course, I’ll forgive you.  So?”

            “So starting today, you’ll be my girlfriend” He said as he reaches her lips.

"Our Next Chapter"

            As you can see, I love romance stories so I decided write a story (due to my boredom). So, here it is:

           Today is not a normal day because I'll be saying goodbye to the one I love. The one I cherish and admire most. For I have chosen the wrong path.

           I wan't ton tell him that I love him but words are not enough. I wan't to show him but I'm running out of time.

          He was my first love and my only love. We've known each other since we're still in diapers. We became friends that turned into best friends and soon became lovers.

          We had five years of relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend then two years as husband and wife. We didn't know that it would end. We didn't know that I have a leukemia. A cancer of blood that slowly kills me. And I know that you hate me. Hate me for having this.

          As I saw him walking to me, I wan't to cry because I can feel that this would be my last day but I can't tell him. I don't wan't him to feel bad because I'm dying. I wan't him him to know that I'm fighting. Fighting to continue our next chapter.

         And when his lips touched mine, I cried. I can't stop what I'm feeling right now. I keep on telling him that I love him and he keeps responding that he loves me too. And I know that deep in his heart, he is confuse. Confused on why I kept telling him but I'm afraid that it would be obvious so I just kept smiling even if I wan't to break down and cry.

         You kept talking to me like I'm not sick just to make me happy. I think, I'll burst out into tears but I know, I shouldn't. All I wan't is to cherish the little moment that we have left right now.

         You were busy recalling those unforgettable moments we had. Our first kiss, first month, fist anniversary and other firsts. I do love those moments too, and I would cherish them until my last breath. I promise that but i hope you'll promise too. Even if you found a new girl who captured your heart once again.

         You're about to go out of our room but I stop you. You look confuse but didn't ask. You just hold me like there's no tomorrow. Even if it hurts my body, I wouldn't stop you. I wan't to feel how much you love me.

         As my time runs out, I kiss you and say "I love you" one last time. You cried but you know there's nothing you can do. You understand why I kept telling you that I love you and why I didn't wan't you to go out of our room. You just kissed me even if you know that I can't respond.

        And as I lay on my deathbed, you said "I love you" one last time and promise that we'll be together again. And together we'll be continuing our next chapter.

           Everybody knows in my class that I'm a big fan of hers. Well, she is known for playing Bella Swan In Twilight Saga. And maybe, that's the reason I started idolizing her.

          She was born last April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles. She has an older brother named Cameron Stewart and two adopted siblings named Dana and Taylor.

          Her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart and her father, John Stewart are both working in showbiz but it is not the reason  why she'd entered the world of showbizness. It is because of a play where she stared and a talent scout was watching her.

          She also love animals (like me! Haha!). She three dogs named Oz (border collie mix), Jack and Lily (who are both hybrid wolves) and a cat named Jella.

          And when she stared in Twilight (2008), she was linked to her co-star, Robert Pattinson, as her boyfriend but there's a lot of pictures that the paparazzi have taken that they are kissing, holding hands or in short, PDA. But last year, she was caught cheating on her boyfriend but luckily, they're still together until now.
